Brad at Final Stage of US Tour Qualifying School - 08/12/2009
Ily arrived back in New Zealand Saturday to enjoy the break with family and friends.
Brad played in the 2nd Stage of The US Tour Qualifying School after shooting rounds of 71, 68, 70 and 69 finishing in 12th spot and successfully progressed to Final Stage.
Playing at the Jack Nicklaus Designed Bears Lake Golf Courses Brad had prepared for Final stage and another opportunity to secure his PGA Tour Card for 2010. The Final Stage is played over 6 rounds and with shooting 76, 72, 71, 72, 75 and 71 it was a 116th place finish to miss a Tour Spot.
Brad will begin his 2010 season at the New Zealand PGA Championship played at Clearwater in Christchurch NZ beginning on the 21st of January followed by the New Zealand Open at the Hills in Queenstown starting on the 28th and the Moonah Classic played in Melbourne starting the 4th of February.
After beginning the year with conditional status on the Nationwide Tour
which didnt end up providing a single a start through that status and
then, pre Qualifying for the South Georgia Classic back in the US, the
last event before the 1st re-rank by beating 7 others for the 7th spot
of only 7 places in a play off at his pre qualifying course and then
going on to finish 6th and secure the rest of the 2009 events it has in
short been a great year.
